We hope to have some photos soon of our chickens are things are going well with our small flock. We hope to add to the 'range' and the population.
The eggs we've had so far are incredibly good and amazingly fluffy. We think once you've had a taste you're going to want to sign up for a regular supply!

Eggs!
We're putting the finishing touches on our chicken pen today and our first laying hens are set to arrive on Monday. This means we will shortly be offering brown eggs.
You can expect no hormone or antibiotic injected layers and delicious eggs from pasture raised birds. Photos to follow.

Goodness Grows
We're progressing along at the Farm, having put in 34 blueberry bushes and 24 blackberry canes as well as assorted other fruits.
We've also applied for membership in the Goodness Grows in North Carolina program.
We also plan to sell our fruit on site and will be posting hours here in the Spring.

Welcome!
We've started Rockfield Farms to provide all-natural fruits, herbs and other foods to folks looking quality, locally-grown products raised without harmful chemicals.
We do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, and we live on the land we farm— so it is important to us how we raise our produce.
Initially, we will be offering blueberries, pears, figs, pomegranates, cranberries, apples and herbs beginning next spring. In 2011, we'll have our first crop of blackberries.
We intend to sell off the farm (outside Spring Hope, NC), and at local Farmer's Markets, including Rocky Mount and Spring Hope.
For more information, call us at 252-478-3783. Check back here for regular updates.
